How existing conditions are assessed
APRIL states that conditions which existed in the two years before cover starts are not covered unless accepted. Under-65s can choose a moratorium (no medical questionnaire; a condition can become covered after 24 symptom-free months), full medical underwriting, or continued exclusions carried over from a previous international policy.
